I never cease to be mazed by the disconnect between conscious mind and the body. It's 5:30 a.m., day of surgery and though my mind said, "I'm in the Lord's hands. There s nothing to fear," sleep was sporadic. Check in with y ou shortly. Romans 15:13

Post-Surgery: Theresa says, "Surgery went very well for Ray and he's well into rehab... "
Thanks, Lord, for taking care of our Ray and please bless Theresa and Ray through this time of therapy and recovery.
The writer, a Life Coach, observes the tough times of life as challenges to gain great life lessons and personal growth through the loss of comfort, status, material, position, health, relationships, etc. "Consider it a sheer gift when tests and challenges come...You know that under pressure, your faith-life...shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way." His and others' stories make up the blogsite.

"There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary - we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!" Romans 5:3-5 The Message
