Continuing our quest for knowing God more deeply, we examine names the Bible ascribes to God beginning today with:
Almighty - all powerful

Elohim - God of Gods, creator; all compassing, self-sufficient, holds together all things, the One who stands by His creation and whose eye never leaves it. Breaking down the word Elohim: "El" means mighty and strong, "him" refers to three or more.

El Elyon - Sovereign ruler (unlimited control of), Most High, the final word, the final court of appeal.
