A Day Well Lived

For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision;
But today, well lived,
Makes every yesterday
A dream of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Thomas D. Talmage

Yesterday has some nightmares.
Lord, heal my wounds,
Help me forgive those who were the cause,
And help me see benefits of the pain I have experienced.

Tomorrow may not have a vision
But Father, I commit the future to you
For Your care and guidance.

Today, well lived, in obedience to God
Brings peace, joy and contentment.
May the God of hope fill you with all peace and joy as you trust in Him,
that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit
.” Romans 15:13
